“The Pressed Man” is an enchanting acoustic folk ballad, inspired by Irish folk legends like Paul Brady and Daoiri Farrel, with a Nordic twist. Hypnotic percussion, sparkling strings (guitar and cello) and soaring vocal harmonies deliver an engaging tale of historical fiction, depicting a young man in the early 1800s, kidnapped and obliged to years of servitude at sea.

on a hill, standing up very tall
Said he: "I offer cool respite!"
"for a price, just behind this wall"

And so I paid the price that he asked,
for it being a warm summer's eve,
and as I went behind that wall,
